TAMI MCP server · Claude · ChatGPT
TAMI, inside your AI assistant.
Connect TAMI to Claude or ChatGPT and find the companies and people you are looking for by describing them in plain language — in the same place you are already working.
Nothing to install. Read-only by design — TAMI retrieves and drafts, it never sends or changes anything.
Find mid-size fintech companies in Germany with 50–200 employees, and pull the emails of their heads of product.
Your assistant calls TAMIWhat you can do
Describe who you are looking for. TAMI does the rest.
One filter of any kind is enough; combine them to narrow. Value filters — industry, geography, seniority and so on — are resolved to accepted values first, so plain language always lands on real database values.
Prospecting
Find companies or contacts by criteria.
- Company: industry and sub-industry · HQ country, operating or target country, world region (DACH, APAC…) · city, state, zip or postal code · employee count · annual turnover · website or company name.
- Technographics: the technologies a website runs on — e-commerce platform, payment, shipping, finance and hosting providers.
- E-commerce signals: takes online payments · has add-to-cart · localised domain.
- Contacts within a company: job title · seniority (C-level, management, non-management) · department · location · email status · must have a work email, phone, or direct-dial mobile.
Every value filter supports include and exclude. Results are paginated — 10 per page by default, 100 maximum.
Enrichment
The full profile of a company or person you can name.
- Identify them by website, name, email address or professional-network profile URL.
- Company: core profile of roughly 48 firmographic fields, plus optional specialist packages — e-commerce, logistics, fintech, traffic.
- Contact: verified work email and direct or mobile phone, with title, seniority, department and location.
The only tools that spend credits — charged per record returned. Everything else on this page is free to call.
Professional network
Profiles, company pages and recent activity.
- Profile: name, headline, location, work history, education, skills and follower counts — looked up by public handle or profile URL.
- Company page: industry, headcount, headquarters, description, specialities and follower count.
- Recent activity: summaries of what a person or company has published, newest first — 10 items by default, 20 at most. A person's own posts only; reshares are excluded, and nothing older than six months is returned.
Activity and profile text arrive as professional-fact summaries, never the original wording. See Data and privacy.
And the rest
The supporting toolkit around your research.
- Lookalikes — give a website, get companies similar to it.
- News — recent company and sector news, with headline, date and link.
- Outreach — draft a personalised message for a prospect from the intelligence you have gathered.
- Knowledge base — search TAMI's own product documentation.
- Usage — your remaining credit balances and rate-limit allowance.
Outreach is returned to you as a draft, never delivered. Nothing is sent on your behalf.
The toolset
Fifteen tools. Thirteen of them free.
Every TAMI capability is published to your assistant as a tool it can call on your behalf. Only the two enrichment tools consume credits — searching, browsing and drafting cost nothing.

How it's charged
Free to explore. Credits only when you enrich.
Today only the two enrichment tools consume credits, and only per record actually returned. Your account carries two separate credit balances, both reported by get_usage. Searching and every other tool is free to call. This will change as the connector grows; see tami.ai/pricing for current plans and rates.
Check before a large job
Ask the assistant to check get_usage at any time to see the balances you have left before a large job — it is free and is never rate limited.
Read-only, enforced at the protocol
Every tool retrieves or drafts; none of them writes to, changes or deletes anything — not in TAMI, and not in any other system you use. All fifteen tools are published with a read-only annotation, so this is enforced at the protocol level, not merely a promise on this page.
Nothing sent on your behalf
An outreach message is returned to you as a draft, never delivered. You stay in control of every word that reaches a prospect.
Data and privacy
What we send the assistant, and what we hold back
Results come primarily from TAMI's own licensed B2B database. Professional-network profiles, company pages and activity are retrieved through a commercial data provider we license — we do not scrape any social platform. News headlines come from a public news feed.
Free text written by an individual — their posts, and the “about” section and headline on their profile — is never passed through to the assistant in its original wording. Each one is first condensed to its professional substance:
✓Kept
The professional facts, and the figures attached to them.
✕Removed
Personal-life detail, contact details, links and hashtags.
Never added: the condensation may only remove and rephrase. It cannot introduce a fact — a date, a metric, an employer or a qualification — that the source text did not state.
Structured profile fields such as job history, education and skills pass through as retrieved; by their nature they carry professional facts only. Activity older than six months is not returned at all. When you connect TAMI to an AI assistant, the data you request is transmitted to that assistant's provider and processed on their systems under their terms.
Results are held in a short-lived cache so that repeating a request does not re-query the source. The connector keeps no record of your conversation: TAMI receives the parameters of each tool call, never the surrounding chat.
Personal and professional data is handled in line with our privacy policy, which also explains how an individual can request removal from TAMI's database. Use of the service is governed by our terms of service. Removal requests and any other data-protection question can be sent directly to dataprotection@tami.ai.
Troubleshooting
If something doesn't look right
The tools do not appear
Reconnect from your assistant's connector settings. The connection is per user, so each person on your team connects once with their own TAMI account.
“Not found” for a person or company
Handles are often not guessable from a display name. Give the assistant the full profile or page URL, or ask it to find the record by name, company and job title instead of guessing.
Rate limited
Ask the assistant to call get_usage — it reports how many calls you have used in each window and the exact time that window resets.
Enrichment returns no records
A credit balance may be exhausted — get_usage shows both balances and what is left in each.

For IT and security reviewers
The review, answered up front
What the connector can and cannot do — authentication, scope, retention and revocation — for the people who sign it off.
- Authentication
- OAuth 2.0 against TAMI's identity service. Each user signs in with their own TAMI account and consents to the connection. No API key is pasted into the assistant, and TAMI never receives the user's credentials for the assistant.
- Read-only
- All fifteen tools are published with a read-only annotation, enforced at the protocol level. None of them writes, updates or deletes anything — in TAMI or in any other system — and none sends messages on a user's behalf. A drafted outreach message is returned as text for the user to use.
- Scope of access
- The connector reads TAMI data the user's own account is already entitled to. It has no access to the user's files, mailbox, calendar or other connectors, and it does not read the assistant's memory or chat history.
- Where data goes
- Requests reach TAMI's own production APIs; professional-network records come from a commercial data provider TAMI licenses, and news headlines from a public news feed. Whatever the assistant receives is processed by the assistant's provider under their terms.
- Data minimisation
- Free text written by an individual is condensed to professional facts before it leaves TAMI, with personal-life detail removed — see Data and privacy above.
- Retention
- Results are cached only briefly to avoid repeat lookups. The connector stores no conversation content.
- Revoking access
- Remove the connector in the assistant's settings, or revoke the session from the TAMI account. Access ends immediately; no further calls are possible without a new sign-in.
- Security contact
- ITsecurity@tami.ai
Limits and support
Generous limits, real people behind them
Rate limits apply per user. Ask the assistant to call get_usage to see what you have left in each window and when it resets.
Put TAMI where you already work
Connect once, then research your entire market by describing it — companies, contacts, context and a draft, without leaving the conversation.
