ISP leads with the dead ends taken out first
Every business in Britain needs connectivity, which is why an ISP list is never short and almost never good. We hold ISP leads with the closures, the wrong sizes and the out-of-area names already stripped out, so what reaches a rep is what a rep can actually work with.
TAMI AI checks 1.6 million UK companies against their live web presence and tells you which are still trading, how big they are, where they operate and what infrastructure they run. Then it hands you the contact.
1.6m UK companies. 36m verified contacts. Trading status checked on every one.
No card needed. Take a postcode area and see how much of it is still real.
There is no such thing as a bad-fit connectivity prospect.
That sounds like good news. It means qualification cannot save you, because everyone qualifies. The only thing left to improve is how many dials it takes to reach someone worth talking to.

What are ISP leads?
ISP leads are businesses that could take connectivity, voice or managed network services from you, along with whoever holds the account. That last part is unusual in B2B: at a small firm, the broadband was set up years ago by someone who may have left, and nobody has thought about it since.
Most sectors qualify on need. This one cannot. A dental practice, a haulier and a design agency all require internet, and none of them is a better fit than the others.
What separates a workable list from a bad one is everything else: whether the business still exists, whether it is the right size for your product, whether it sits in your coverage area, and whether the name on the record is a person who can say yes.
What we take out before you get the list
Three kinds of record that waste a rep's morning, removed before export.
The ones that closed
UK business churn is heavy at the small end, and registered lists keep companies long after the doors shut. Every record is checked against a live web presence.
The ones too small to bother with
A two-person firm on consumer broadband is not a leased line prospect. Size banding stops the list being dominated by businesses beneath your minimum.
The ones outside your footprint
Coverage is geographic and so is field sales. Filtering to city level keeps a patch to what a rep can physically reach.
What is left is smaller than the list you bought and considerably more useful. TAMI AI does the subtraction before your team spends the morning on it.
WE SEE THE HOSTING ESTATE, NOT THE CIRCUIT
Worth stating plainly, because anyone selling connectivity knows exactly what a website gives away and what it does not.
Hosting providers, cloud platforms, mail providers and CDNs are all detectable from public records. Physical circuits, wholesale carriers and contract end dates are not, and no dataset reads them from a web page.

Half the picture, then. But it is the half that tells you whether a business buys IT deliberately or by accident, and that shapes the conversation far more than knowing which carrier is on the invoice.
Take a postcode area and see how much of it is still real. Free.

The three reasons a connectivity call fails
Only one of them is about the pitch.
The business is gone
Or dormant, or absorbed into a group. Nobody answers, or someone answers who no longer runs anything.
The business is the wrong size
Too small to fund the product, or large enough that procurement handles it and your contact has no authority.
The name is not the account holder
Whoever signed the broadband contract has often moved on, and the person you reach genuinely does not know who did.
Three fixable problems and one unfixable one
The pitch is your job. The other three are what a decent dataset should have solved before the phone rang. That’s what TAMI AI does for you.
What you can strip a list down by
TAMI gives you six filters, applied before export rather than after a bad week.
Verified trading status
Checked against the live web presence, so closures never reach a dialler.
Size and headcount band
Seats drive licences and bandwidth, so size is the closest available proxy for spend.
Region to city level
All four UK nations, filtered tightly enough to match a coverage footprint.
Hosting and cloud provider
Where the infrastructure sits, and which competitor holds that relationship.
Mail provider
Which platform handles email, detectable from public records.
Additional locations
Extra sites where a business publishes them, since each one is a separate sale.
Stack them as tightly as you like. The output is a shorter list, which in a saturated market is the whole point.
EVERY DEAD RECORD COSTS A CONVERSATION YOU DIDN’T HAVE
Connectivity sales is a volume game, which makes the cost of a bad record higher here than almost anywhere. A rep working a list where one in six businesses has closed loses an hour a day to engaged tones and disconnected numbers. TAMI AI reads live web presence continuously, so the subtraction happens before the export rather than gradually.

What a cleaned patch looks like
TAMI AI checks six things about any business before the ISP leads ever reach you.
Confirmed live businesses
Trading status verified, so the count you plan against is the count that answers.
Size band and headcount signals
Enough to know whether the product fits before a rep finds out the hard way.
Location, to city level
Including additional sites where they are published.
Detectable infrastructure
Hosting, cloud, CDN and mail provider, plus what changed and when.
The account contact
IT, operations or owner, with verified email and direct dial.
Deduplicated delivery
Matched against your CRM on import, so existing customers stay out of the calling list.
Where does this data come from?
Everything here is published: company websites, public DNS and hosting records, job listings. The only personal data held is business contact records for named decision-makers, processed under UK GDPR with a documented lawful basis, traceable sourcing and managed suppression. PECR's email rule excludes corporate subscribers, and note that many of the smallest businesses on any connectivity list are sole traders, who count as individuals.
How does TAMI AI fit alongside what telecom teams already buy
General contact platforms hold large UK databases and are the usual next purchase. Neither is built to tell you which of those businesses is still trading and what it runs, so the comparison below is on that.
| Companies House | Cognism | TAMI AI | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Company registration detail | Authoritative | Partial | Partial |
| Still-trading verification | No | No | Yes |
| Hosting and cloud detection | No | No | Yes |
| Mail provider detection | No | No | Yes |
| Additional site identification | Registered offices only | No | Yes |
| Physical circuit or carrier | No | No | No |
| Contract renewal dates | No | No | No |
| Verified contacts included | No | Yes | Yes |
| Refresh | Filing driven | Periodic | Continuous |
Getting a patch down to what a rep can work
Draw the footprint, not the postcode
Set the regions and cities you can actually deliver into. TAMI AI returns the trading businesses inside that boundary, which is generally a fraction of the area's registered companies.
Cut everything beneath your minimum
Apply a size floor. TAMI AI bands by headcount, which removes the microbusinesses that will never fund the product and usually removes most of the list.
Remove the closures
TAMI AI verifies each business against its live web presence, so the dormant and the dissolved come out before anyone dials rather than one call at a time.
Sort by what they run
Filter on hosting, cloud and mail provider. TAMI AI shows which competitor holds the relationship, and businesses that buy IT deliberately answer differently from ones that never think about it.
Put new sites at the top
Additional locations are the only place in this market with nothing to displace. TAMI AI flags them as they are published, and that queue is worth more than the rest of the patch combined.
Suppress your own base
Export deduplicated against your CRM, so a rep never opens a call to a business already on your network.
A patch of four thousand names where a sixth have closed is not a bigger opportunity than three thousand that are all real. It is the same opportunity with worse mornings.
WHAT TELECOM TEAMS DO WITH IT
- Cut a patch to businesses that still exist
- Apply a size floor before anyone dials
- Put new sites and relocations at the front of the queue
- Reach whoever holds the account, not the switchboard
- Size a region honestly before hiring into it
- Map which businesses sit with a rival provider
- Spot mail and cloud platform moves
- Find the firms already paying for performance tooling
- Separate deliberate IT buyers from accidental ones
- Keep existing customers out of the prospecting list
Your reps do not need a longer list. They need the same list with the dead weight gone.
TWELVE OFFICES IS TWELVE SALES
Connectivity is bought per address, on separate contracts, occasionally from separate suppliers, and almost never all at once.
- TAMI AI identifies additional locations where a business publishes them, so a multi-site operator arrives as an estate with several openings rather than as one account with one renewal.
- Stripe, United States Postal Service, Trustpilot and DHL use TAMI AI to understand commercial markets. Stripe, United States Postal Service, Trustpilot and DHL use TAMI AI to understand commercial markets.
